Consultant Firas Shatnawi Wins Distinguished Arab Trainer Award 2022

Engineer Firas Ali Shatnawi, founder of Shatnawi Safety Consultation, received the Distinguished Arab Trainer Award for 2022 from the Arab Trainers Union, in recognition of his significant contributions to training and development in occupational safety and health across the Arab region.

Shatnawi, who holds a Master's degree in Occupational Health, is a pioneer in the field of occupational safety and health in Jordan and the region. He previously served as Director of Work Injuries and Occupational Safety Department at Jordan's Social Security Corporation (2015-2020).

Throughout his professional career, Shatnawi has delivered specialized training programs to thousands of specialists and government inspectors in more than 8 Arab countries, in cooperation with the International Labor Organization, Japan International Cooperation Agency, and the European Union.

This award crowns a career spanning more than 30 years in occupational safety and health. Shatnawi holds internationally accredited certifications from NEBOSH, IOSH, and IASP, and currently serves as Chairman of the Advisory Board for Occupational Safety and Health at the Arab Trainers Union.
